Background of the program:
Opened in 1997. The internationalization of the Colombian economy has introduced new uncertainty factors that demand the reformulation of company strategies and the adequate management of resources. The financial areas of the companies have undergone an even more critical situation. That is why it is necessary to update the executives’ knowledge in this discipline, in order to assure their professional performance.

Finance executives; Financial Managers or Financial analysts, Investment or Credit analysts, Investment bankers and financial consultants with undergraduate degrees
Objectives of the Program:
To prepare executives in the understanding and use of:
- The instruments, tools, and techniques used in the decision-making processes related to the investment, financing, and assigning of business profits.
- The financial theory to project the influence of every decision or economic factor that has to do with the finances of the company.
- The strategic factors that allow the analysis of financial alternatives approached from the point of view of global company environment.
- The concept of value visualized from different strategic alternatives as well as the financial implications of their evaluation.
- The fundamentals of analysis focused from the point of view of risk and performance of financial instruments inherent to the area of financial markets.
- The fundamentals of the calculation of the derived financial instruments and the operation of markets in which they are negotiated.
- The main financial models under conditions of uncertainty such as: CAPM, APT, OPM, VALUE AT RISK, and SIMULATION.
- The recent developments in the international financial field related to the calculation and restructure of companies, the coverage of risk, and the Financial Engineering.
