Background:
The MBA was established at EAFIT in 1973. The Antioquia region experiences constant innovations in the fields of science, technology and education. The traditional concentration of industry and services, together with the development perspectives set out in the Antioquia Siglo XXI Project, has motivated EAFIT University to lead the process of training professionals in executive programs of top management to complement their undergraduate preparation, thus creating the present Master’s in Business Administration or MBA.
Objective:
The MBA aims to prepare qualified professionals, within the highest standards of training, to skillfully combine their creativity and their research abilities with a corresponding competence in decision making and in carrying out those decisions.
Graduate’s Profile
MBA graduates are professionals with a global vision of the world and a command of the strategic environment: its economical, social, political and cultural aspects. They will be able of leading and transforming organizations and their context, supported by management skills of the highest quality level, a clear ethical definition, a sense of social responsibility in the performance of the job, the mastering of an area of knowledge, and a constant willingness to research, in order to give thorough thinking to the processes of transformation of their surrounding world.
