Background:
The origins of this program go back to 1995, when the university and its entrepreneurial council decided that development was needed in this area. With the cooperation of leader international institutions like the MAPFRE Studies Foundation and the Georgia State University, a series of Continuing Education programs and several international Conferences gave way to this Graduate Certificate.
Purpose of this Program:
Today's companies require professionals aware of the importance of the Risk Management in the organization, to assume proactive positions instead of the traditional reactive actions that endanger business stability. An organization's risk management is one of the critical factors of success, and it takes a conceptual foundation and the necessary tools to achieve it.
The main objective of the program is to wholly identify the risks that may affect an organization and acquire the technical and financial criteria provided by the Risk and Insurance Management to accurately analyze, assess and decide their best management practice, including the Risk Transfer Alternatives (RTA) and the preparation of Captive Enterprises.
Graduate's Profile:
