Background:
The program opened in 2001. A rigorous study of non-classic logics, both in relation to their formal aspects, as well as their influence on philosophy and the new language philosophies: logics and physics, logics and computer science, logics and ontology.
Purpose of this Program
The study of the contemporary theories of meaning and the relationships with their derived anthologies and theories about truth.
Objectives:
- To develop competencies for the analysis of argumentative texts, in particular general and philosophical texts.
- Provide a theoretical framework that permits the appreciation of the developments of philosophy in the context of its problems and aspirations.
Aimed at:
Professionals from various areas of knowledge interested in problems related to the analysis, interpretation and comprehension of philosophical works.
Graduate’s Profile:
The graduate will be able to:
- Carry out research projects in philosophy.
- Carry out analysis related to the logic consistency, the argumentative progression and the hermeneutic proposals of the theories that occupy the philosophy and humanities space in general.
- Work as teachers at high school and university level.
- Work in the following areas: research, analytical recension and text editing.
