Eleven (11) semesters; two of them are carried out in a company in professional practices that are supervised by the University or in the development of the student’s own company.
Delivery Mode:
On campus, day attendance. Maximum workload is 19 credits (six courses) per semester.

Purpose of this Program:
To offer students the theoretical and practical knowledge of Management, and to develop skills in the functional areas of the organization, such as marketing, finance, international business and human development.
Objectives:
- To introduce students to the world of professional management
- To give access to the appropriate management techniques and how to apply them in accordance with the objectives and requirements of the organization.
- To apply a decision-making process in accordance with the efficiency/effectiveness, and efficacy organizational parameters.
- To incorporate the attitudes, values, principles and rules that will make leaders.
- To foster a professional performance on the job, as well as responsibility to society in any position within an organization.
Student Profile:
To study Business Management requires an open mind, able to tolerate and assess differences of thought, theories or practices. At the same time, it requires a strong personality to deal with uncertainty, and to make decisions. A comprehensive ability and a command of other languages are highly desirable.
Graduate Profile:
EAFIT’s Business Manager is a professional qualified to respond to the demands of the labor market, able to achieve high positions in any public or private organization, and even being the manager of his/her own company. A Manager will be able to create future, with an ethics based on Social responsibility and with a clear vision of his/her life project. He or she will exercise social skills to balance differences in a conflict. She/he will have the ability to promote teamwork and learning.
