If your university has an exchange Agreement with EAFIT, you can register as an exchange student, following these steps:
- Contact the person in charge of student exchanges at your university and find out about the rules.
- Look for the Undergraduate Prospectus in our Web site and go through the course descriptions, so you can have an idea of the subjects you wish to take.
- Be aware of the dates for application: according to the Colombian calendar, first semester goes from January through June, and second semester goes from July until November. Your information should come by the first week of June and the second week of November. Deadlines for application at your school might be earlier.
- Contact us in case you have any questions regarding courses or any other doubt about living in Medellín or studying at EAFIT.
In order to reserve a place for you as an exchange student, we will ask your personal information, your blood type, and your national ID number.
Exchange students will be charged for a student ID at EAFIT, which is worth about 3 USD.
Exchange students must apply and pay for a Foreigner ID (“Cédula de Extranjería”). Please regard the advice on visa requirements.
