LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES CYCLES FOR FOREING STUDENTS

In conjunction with the Humanities Department of the University, the Language Center has designed a Latin American Studies Program aimed at broadening the knowledge base, strengthening the communicative ability and increasing the sociocultural interaction of the participants .

The Latin American Studies Program includes social, political and cultural topics of Colombia and other Latin American Countries. This program is offered exclusively to foreign students as a way to complement their linguistic studies at the Language Center. This program is made up of twelve 32-hour courses grouped by three sets of themes:

Esthetic and Literary Studies in Colombia and Latin American

Colombian History

A Look at the Colombian and Latin American Political Panorama.

These courses are opened per request of a group of students and the cost varies according to the number of registered students. The courses can be taken on a pass/failed bases or for academic credit.
