1. The applicants who want to take a Spanish course whose length is a minimum of 6 months (180 days) require a temporary student visa which should be issued at the embassy of your coutrty along with the following documents.

• Receipt of payment or the registration slip from the institution where you will study.
• Certificate of Legal Existence of the institution.
• Passport.
• Requirements of the corresponding embassy.

2. In order to obtain the documents from EAFIT university, the applicant should:

• Pay in advance the number of courses s/he is planning to take plus the registration slip (US $ 50).
• Send the receipt of payment via fax, number (57- 4) 268 25 99.
• Once the University receives the proof of payment, a registration certificate and the certificate     of legal existence will both be sent. ( Essential documents for the issuing of the visa)

3. If the foreign student registered in a course no longer than 6 months (180 days), It is not necessary to issue a temporary student visa. In such a case the applicant should request a Temporary Visitor's Seal in Immigration at the airport. When doing so, the following documents are to be shown:

• Receipt of payment or the registration slip from the institution where you will study.
• Certificate of Legal Existence of the institution.

4. If the applicant is already in Colombia as a tourist visitor and s/he is interested in taking any of our courses, a temporary student visa should be issued at the Ministry of International Affaires in Bogotá - Colombia. The documents mentioned in part 3 should be attached.
