Dagmar Tomanek is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany. He works currently in the project "Hospital 4.0" funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research, which promote the digitalization in hospitals. He has research experience in several national and international projects. His research focus is the optimization of value added. In addition to a lectureship in production and logistics at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and at the Academy of Administration and Economics (VWA) in Munich (both Germany), he was a visiting lecturer at the University of Boras (Sweden), the University Nebrija in Madrid (Spain) and the EAFIT (Colombia). Furthermore, he is an inventor and patent holder (together with Jürgen Schröder) of the Value Added Heat Map.
