Intereses académicos e investigativos / Research and Teaching Interest

​Dr. Aristizábal main research interests are synthesis and characterization of catalytic and adsorption materials for water and soil remediation. Key areas of her reasearch are the use of advanced oxidation process, like photolysis and UV/H2O2; catalytic reduction; and adsorption processes for the removal of pollutants such as nitrates, dyes and cadmium. Some other research areas include: the seek of cleaner production alternatives in industrial processes and the improvement of manufacture materials, such as tool grade steels in industry.​
