Resumen CV / Summary

RM. Martinod is associate lecturer at EAFIT University (Colombia) since 2015. His research experience has been gained with the Research Group of Industrial Maintenance -GEMI- (Grade A by the National Agency for Science of Colombia), since 2006. His research experience has been gained working at research projects which provide support to organizations in the design, development and improvement of products, services and technical processes, with emphasis on management and operation of industrial maintenance, supported on national and international standards and methodologies. His major research fields are optimization of maintenance policies and service behaviour for intermodal urban transport systems (railways, ropeways, tramways).

Intereses académicos e investigativos / Research and Teaching Interest

I am interested to acquire a long-term research expertise in transport systems, specially studies focused on intermodal urban transport systems  (urban aerial ropeways, railways, tramways) to improve the operation and maintenance. Having this knowledge will allow me to better understand maintenance models and to combine practice with most advanced theories.
