Academic Structure

Academic teaching and research are organized for the benefit of undergraduate and graduate level students.

The 6 schools offer:

3 doctorates
21 master’s degree programs
64 graduate certificate programs
20 undergraduate degree programs

The university’s academic structure constitutes a unified system that begins at the top with the President’s Office and includes the Vice President’s Office, the five schools and the academic departments. The deans of the different schools, the heads of the departments and undergraduate degree programs and the coordinators of thegraduate degree programs all participate in that structure.

The university facilitates students’ passage from the undergraduate to the graduate level through the Metro System, which allows students working toward their degree to take subjects that later will be recognized at the start of their graduate studies.
