Students, EAFIT’s raison d’etre as an educational establishment, are fundamental to the work of our research “incubators,” which are study groups that focus on a specific topic and devise projects that address their research interests.
This work, known as formative research, takes root in the undergraduate programs’ areas of emphasis and can serve as a stepping stone to participation in the research groups and centers of excellence, thus marking the arrival of a new generation of researchers.
EAFIT currently has 45 research incubators that are composed of more than 500 students and affiliated with the RedColsi National Incubator Network through the Antioquia Node of research incubators.
Those organizations facilitate academic and research exchanges among students from different universities.
