The Department of Economics, located in the School of Economics and Finance at Universidad EAFIT in Medellin Colombia, is inviting applications for two full-time tenure-tracks Professor with salary and rank open, dependent on the qualifications of the applicants. The position begins as early as possible in 2015. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics as well as developing a strong research agenda. Teaching assignments are dependent on the background and expertise of individual faculty member and the needs of the department. The candidate will be expected to teach in both the undergraduate and master's programs. Faculty members are expected to fulfill service (administrative) obligations and publish in refereed journals. The available openings are open but preference will be given to applicants for the areas of Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconometrics. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Review of applications will begin immediately.
