Dynamization of SMEs through intellectual capital diagnostic: case studies in Antioquia's SMEs
In order to diagnose the existing dynamic capabilities that allow them to adapt to the globalized and changing environment in which they develop, the project seeks to identify the intellectual capital of a group of SMEs from Antioquia.
Researcher Cecilia Murcia Rivera presented and approved the project SMEs boosting through the diagnosis of their intellectual capital: Case study of Antioquia's SMES within the framework of the 'Es Tiempo de Volver' (It is time to return) program developed by the Colombian government through Colciencias (Administrative department of science, technology and innovation). The objective of this program was to bring PhD Colombian citizens living abroad back to the country. Universidad EAFIT is involved in this program as a co-financing entity.
The proposal was developed based on the broad experience of the lead researcher of the Intellectus research group at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid where international experiences of identification, measurement and intellectual capital management in organizations were carried out starting from the implementation of the Intellectus methodology that was developed by the group itself.
