Abstract
This article introduces Canada’s International Cooperation strategies, which are conducted by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and its orientation towards the human development, which is presented in the article from the UNDP perspective Then it presents CIDA’s specific goals in Colombia, emphasizing the environmental protection program that is being developed by Fundación ECOFONDO, with debt reduction programs and direct cooperation from CIDA.
