Abstract
The essay will expose how the identity of the Canadian nation is desconfigurating for the changes inside the country because of the close relation between the governments of Canada and The United States, due to the fact that Canada is transforming its foreign policy in order to have a leading role in the world. Intention that is not shared by the civil Canadian population and that is affecting them in their daily life, because of the disappearance of the principles that before were defining their nation.
