Profile of graduate
The study of economics forms professionals with a deep knowledge in economic theory, capable of creating and employing strategies that allow to explain and forecast, including modify the results of the interaction between consumers, producers, investors, among others, in market situations and where markets don`t exist.

They have knowledge of the cultural, historical and institutional environment in which economic activities of the country develop, as well as its relationship with other countries. They are competent professionals in a national and international context, valued for their technical and research abilities, for their ethical competence and social responsibilities, as well as for their capacity of entrepreneurship and learning in changing economic realities.

The graduate will be able to perform in private companies, in the public sector and in academia in areas such as:
