CLADEA

El Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuela de Administración – CLADEA, es una de las redes más importantes de Escuelas de Negocios a nivel mundial. Esta organización internacional provee un sistema de cooperación a nivel global y mantiene vínculos de membresía recíproca con las principales instituciones académicas del mundo. El órgano directivo está constituido por el Presidente, Director Ejecutivo y Coordinadora Ejecutiva, así como por un Comité Directivo, Comité Académico y el equipo de la sede ejecutiva, que tiene a su cargo las áreas de marketing y comunicaciones. Actualmente, CLADEA cuenta con 202 instituciones afiliadas - tanto privadas como públicas- pertenecientes a Latinoamérica, Norteamérica, Europa y Oceanía.

​BALAS

The Business Association of Latin American Studies - BALAS, is the first international business and economics professional association to focus exclusively on the study of economics, management, leadership and industry in Latin America and the Caribbean. The organization is strongly international in character, with members from all over the world – from over 30 countries. BALAS is an international organization dedicated to bringing together scholars, professional managers and decision makers to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas and to provide leadership in the areas of Latin American business and economic research and practice. BALAS provides a leadership role in sponsoring forums for exchanges of ideas, information dissemination, research collaboration and education activities of the highest professional quality. BALAS offers a multicultural and multinational environment that is congenial, open and supportive.

​AIB

The Academy of International Business - AIB, is the world leading academic organization in the field of International Business. It was established in 1959 for fostering and encouraging research activities for advancing the education in International Business. The Journal of International Business (JIBS) is the official publication of AIB, and there is presented to the academic community the most recent peer-reviewed scientific papers in the   field of IB.
Universidad EAFIT is an institutional member of AIB. Most of our visiting scholars are members of AIB, and we are continuously updating our course contents recent findings in AIB. Our faculty focuses their research agenda to the key questions set by the AIB community.

​AIB-LAT

The department of International Business at Universidad EAFIT is one of the founding members of the Latin American chapter of the Academy of International Business - AIB. Since 2008, we have been actively involved in this academic network. Our participation in the network has been focused on presenting research progress at the annual meeting, promoting AIB-Lat as the regional academic network focused specifically on IB teaching, research and practice.

​UNCTAD

Universidad EAFIT is one of the founding institutions of the virtual institute of the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Since its beginners, Universidad EAFIT has coordinated Colombian national network of member universities. Currently there are 17 Colombian universities which are part of the vi UNCTAD. As active members of the virtual institute, we jointly organize video conferences, events and study tours on trade and development.

Paciber, is the Pacific Asian Consortium for International Business Education and Research (PACIBER). It is a consortium on leading universities in the Asian and Pacific regions dedicated to the advance of teaching and research in international business.

​RCPI

La Red Colombiana de Profesiones Internacionales (RCPI) fue fundada en Junio de 2005 como respuesta a una convocatoria por parte de las universidades EAFIT (Medellín) y Tecnológica de Bolívar (Cartagena) a diez programas a nivel nacional en formación de pregrado en profesiones internacionales. Luego fue constituida en el 2006 a través de un convenio de cooperación académica, integrando a otros programas académicos de vocación internacional en Colombia estructurados desde las disciplinas de la economía, la administración, la ciencia política y las relaciones internacionales en instituciones colombianas de educación superior.

​X-Culture

X-Culture was launched in 2010 by Dr. Vas Taras. As he was preparing a new International Business course he thought it would be a good idea to partner with a professor in another country who was teaching a similar course. The students from the two countries would work in international virtual teams on a term project, experiencing the challenges and learning best practices of international collaboration firsthand.

The PRME initiative serves as a framework for gradual, systemic change in business schools and management-related institutions, based on three distinctive characteristics of the initiative: continuing improvement, a learning network, and reporting progress to stakeholders. Reporting on progress by participant institutions to stakeholders through Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) reports is an essential part of the active commitment to PRME. SIP reporting provides information on progress achieved in the implementation of PRME, an opportunity for exchanging effective practices, and creates a learning community with other participating institutions
