​​Carlos Alejandro Trujillo Anaya. B.S. Engineering Physics, M.S Engineering and Ph.D. in Physics from the National University of Colombia - Medellín campus. Associate professor in the department of physical sciences at the EAFIT University School of Sciences. Professor Trujillo belongs to the research group in applied optics of the same university.
9 years university teaching experience in digital electronics, microcontrollers, machine learning, computer vision and optics courses. His principal research interests include, but are not limited to, digital holography, quantitative phase imaging, image processing, and machine learning.
Professor Trujillo has authored and co-authored 25 articles published in scientific journals with international peer review, as well as presentations at national and international conferences. Similarly, He has been granted an invention patent and two software registrations. He has served as a peer reviewer for high impact magazines in the applied optics area such as Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Optics Letters, Applied Optics and Optics Express.

Carlos Alejandro Trujillo Anaya. Ingeniero Físico, Magíster en Ingeniería y Ph.D. en Física de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede Medellín. Profesor asociado del departamento de ciencias físicas de la escuela de ciencias de la Universidad EAFIT. Vinculado al grupo de investigación en óptica aplicada de la misma universidad.
Experiencia docente universitaria de 9 años en cursos de electrónica digital, microcontroladores, aprendizaje de máquina, visión artificial y óptica. Sus áreas de interés investigativo incluyen, pero no se limitan a, holografía digital, técnicas de recuperación cuantitativas de fase, procesamiento de imágenes y aprendizaje de máquina.
El profesor Trujillo ha sido autor y coautor de 25 artículos publicados en revistas científicas con arbitraje por pares académicos internacionales, así como presentaciones en conferencias nacionales e internacionales. Igualmente le ha sido otorgada una patente de invención y dos registros de software. Ha sido par evaluador de revistas de alto impacto en el área de la óptica aplicada tales como Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Optics Letters, Applied Optics y Optics Express.

Intereses académicos e investigativos / Research and Teaching Interest

​The principal research interests include, but are not limited to, digital holography, quantitative phase imaging, image processing, and machine learning.

Las áreas de interés investigativo incluyen, pero no se limitan a, holografía digital, técnicas de recuperación cuantitativas de fase, procesamiento de imágenes y aprendizaje de máquina.​
