But the formal link between the institution and that area of Colombia dates back about 30 years, when the graduate certificate program in Finance began being offered there at the end of the 1970s. And EAFIT has had its own campus in that region since 1995, offering different programs.
Today, in the city of Pereira, capital of Risaralda Department, the university offers a master’s degree program in Financial Management through an agreement with Universidad Católica de Pereira; graduate certificate programs in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Marketing, Strategic Cost Management and Quality Management; and language and continuing education programs.
This coursework is offered in a new 1,350-squaremeter facility (Carrera 19 No. 12-70 Edificio Megacentro Pinares) that houses 13 classrooms for roughly 500 students.
