EAFIT Children's University is a member of Eucu.net, the European network of the Universities for Children, which is an initiative involving over 350 programs alike. This network intends to spread the best ways of realization and to improve the communication and collaboration between different programs to alter the quality and make this form of learning more known in Europe and the world.
Since 2013 the Program is also a member of the network
Popularización de la Ciencia y de la Tecnología en América Latina y el Caribe (Popularization of Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean) known as
RedPOP. This is an interactive network, which brings together centers and programs for the popularization of science and technology. It operates through mechanisms of regional cooperation that favor the exchange, training and use of resources among its members.
Additionally, since October 2019 the program became a part of the EU-project
PHERECLOS, which builds upon the experience of Children's Universities (CUs) in Europe and beyond. Due to their engagement with children and young people, they help to breakdown institutional boundaries between universities and the wider society. At the same time, the project aims to improve the quality of science engagement.
