EAFIT commitment with Ideas 4 Action and the SDGs

• Ideas 4 Action has many important resources for learning, most prominently the published winning cases from previous years. This resource is particularly useful for students and teachers to discover possible scenarios of contribution to the SDOs, explore localization and replicability (or scalability) of these scenarios, and examine examples that clearly demonstrate what is expected in the contest in terms of structure, depth and rigor.

• EAFIT University had several special incentives in 2017 to participate in Ideas 4 Action. One in particular is highlighted, when EAFIT University was visited by Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin (PhD), Vice-President of the World Bank for the 2030 Agenda in the framework of the Chair of the Global Compact. We also have the firm support of Professor Djordjija Petkoski of the Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton Business School, who listened and gave feedback via video conference to the students' projects last year. Finally, also in 2017 the project of Business Administration student Manuela Gómez Valencia, applied to Cerro Quitasol in Bello, was selected among the finalists.
