Andrés es Doctor en Ingeniería Química del Illinois Institute of Technology y también se desempeñó como investigador postdoctoral en la Universidad de Chicago. Es Ingeniero Químico y Magíster en Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad de los Andes en Bogotá. Andrés desarrolla modelos teóricos y lleva a cabo simulaciones computacionales de fluidos complejos, con énfasis en los fenómenos de transporte biológicos y activos.
Andrés has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and he also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago. He is a Chemical Engineer and also has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from los Andes University in Bogotá. Andrés develops theoretical models and carries out computational simulations of complex fluids, with an emphasis in biological and active transport phenomena.
