    Lina M. Ceballos, Profesora Titular del Departamento de Mercadeo de la Universidad EAFIT, es Doctora en Filosofía (Ph.D.) en Estudios de Consumidor, Vestuario y Retail de University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Lina también es Ingeniera de Producción de la Universidad Eafit y Maestra en Administración con énfasis en Mercadeo (MBA) de University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, con un Certificado en Mercadeo de la Moda de London College of Fashion (LCF). Es profesora e investigadora de la Universidad EAFIT desde el año 2009, en donde ha tenido varios cargos como Coordinadora de Mercadeo de la Moda y Jefe del Pregrado en Mercadeo. Sus investigaciones se han publicado principalmente en revistas de marketing (como International Journal of Consumer Studies, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management y Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management), estética (Empirical Studies of the Arts) y de estudios de moda (como Fashion & Textiles e International Journal of Fashion Design, Technology and Education).

    Lina M. Ceballos, Full Professor of Marketing at Universidad EAFIT, is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Lina is also a Production Engineer from Universidad EAFIT and holds a Master's in Administration with an emphasis on Marketing (MBA) from the University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, and a Certificate in Fashion Marketing from London College of Fashion (LCF). She has been a researcher and teacher at Universidad EAFIT since 2009, holding various positions, including Coordinator of Fashion Marketing and Director of the Marketing Undergraduate Program. Her research has mainly been published in journals in marketing (e.g., International Journal of Consumer Studies, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management), aesthetics (Empirical Studies of the Arts), and fashion studies (e.g., Fashion & Textiles, and International Journal of Fashion Design, Technology and Education).

    Intereses académicos e investigativos/Research and Teaching Interest

    Lina investiga cómo los consumidores perciben y evalúan los productos y cómo dichos procesos influyen en sus experiencias y decisiones. Su trabajo también analiza cómo el apego al producto, la identidad, las transiciones y los sentidos, entre otros aspectos, afectan las experiencias del consumidor. Asimismo, explora la intersección entre el comportamiento del consumidor y el diseño de productos, con especial énfasis en la estética, la moda y las preferencias de los consumidores.

    Lina investigates how consumers perceive and evaluate products, and how these processes shape experiences and decision-making. Her work further examines how product attachment, identity, life transitions, and the senses, among other aspects, influence consumer experiences. Her research also explores the intersection of consumer behavior and product design, with a particular emphasis on product aesthetics, fashion, and consumer preferences.
