Resumen/Summary
Profesora, investigadora y especialista en políticas de desarrollo, construcción de paz y género. Es profesora asistente del pregrado en Ciencias Políticas e investigadora del Área de Políticas y Desarrollo en la Escuela de Finanzas, Economía y Gobierno de la Universidad EAFIT.
Doctora en Gobierno por la University of South Florida (USF), con énfasis en Política Comparada y formación complementaria en Relaciones Internacionales. Su trayectoria académica ha sido respaldada por diversas becas otorgadas por instituciones como la Inter-American Foundation, The Sisters of the Academy, la USF y la Universidad del Norte.
Recientemente recibió la beca postdoctoral “Orquídeas” del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de Colombia, para investigar el impacto del Acuerdo de Paz de Colombia (2016) en la participación política de las mujeres en los territorios priorizados por los Programas de Desarrollo con Enfoque Territorial (PDET).
Professor, researcher, and specialist in development policy, peacebuilding, and gender. She is an Assistant Professor in the undergraduate program in Political Science and a researcher in the Policy and Development Area at the School of Finance, Economics, and Government at Universidad EAFIT.
She holds a Ph.D. in Government from the University of South Florida (USF), with a major in Comparative Politics and minor in International Relations. Her academic career has been supported by various scholarships awarded by institutions such as the Inter-American Foundation, The Sisters of the Academy, USF, and Universidad del Norte.
Recently, she was awarded the postdoctoral fellowship “Orquídeas” by the Colombian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation to research the impact of Colombia’s 2016 Peace Agreement on women’s political participation in territories prioritized under the Development Programs with a Territorial Approach (PDET).
