This work* is framed in the Integral Regional Project of Urabá, contained in line 6 of the Development Plan of the Government of Antioquia 2011-2015 "Antioquia la más educada". Within this multidisciplinary project, an attempt has been made to describe the Antioquia Urabá from different perspectives: first, from a diagnosis in the territory, from a more regional view identifying the system of cities on the way to the sea and the Atrato River as common strategic places; second, the dynamics of the regional development pole are analyzed at regional level (Turbo- Apartadó – Carepa y Chigorodó); and, third, establishing Integral Municipal Plans in each municipality, mentioned above, which seeks to identify the main dynamics of operation and aspects that should be prioritized in the definition of projects to be developed.
