I I am a Physics Engineer with an MSc in Engineering through the research track, from EAFIT University. My thesis project aimed to delve into battery swapping technologies for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The purpose of this work is to use simulation and optimization techniques to size stations, understand their interaction with the grid, demand, renewable energy generation, and quantify associated operational costs for minimization. Additionally, an instrumentation and monitoring scheme is proposed for validation.
