Llanogrande is located less than an hour by car from Medellín in Rionegro, a municipality in eastern Antioquia. That rural campus serves the inhabitants of nearby towns such as La Ceja, El Retiro and El Carmen de Viboral.
EAFIT Llanogrande hosts different events and cultural and academic activities. The campus dates back to 1996 and was initially conceived as a space for offering English-language courses through the Language Center. Its academic portfolio, however, was later expanded to include continuing education courses and graduate programs.
A range of social activities also take place at that campus, including the Scholastic Musical Encounter (EME) which attracts youth from that sub-region of Antioquia, and different community outreach initiatives.
EAFIT Llanogrande, located on kilometer 3.5 of the Don Diego-Rionegro highway, offers master’s degree programs in Business Administration and Management of Social Enterprises for Social Innovation and Local Development; and graduate certificate programs in Finance, Project Management, Human Development Management and Management of Social Development Entities.
