This Diploma is based on a "learn by doing" method, which is conducted by different kinds of activities, within the following categories:

- Self-assessment. Activities which let the participants self-measure their acquaintances upon specific topics, with or without the tutor's feedback.
- Forums. Activities designed for collaborative learning in which participants along with tutors enquire, discuss and solve questions concerning the Diploma's topics.
- Integrative project. Consists of a final integrative activity which presents the acquired knowledge during the Diploma, whose due delivery, also determines the participant's certification.
Learning activities
The course learning proposal program is focused on practical activities that involve reading, researching and workshops developed according to each participant interest.
These activities were designed to enable the participant to achieve the proposed objectives while enjoying the performance of assignments. At the end of each journey, the students will take integrative activities where they socialize and feed-back their experiences through the forums.
At the beginning of the course, the participant should formulate a project of his/her interest regarding the bilateral relation of Colombia and Canada. Examples of it could be a research project on market opportunities for a certain product in the Canadian Market, or a research project aimed to find International Cooperation opportunities for a Colombian NGO with the Canadian government.
At the end of the course and as a result of the diverse activities done through it, the participant is encouraged to do a video or podcast as a final project were the results are exposed and the actual feasibility of the proposed project is evaluated according to the acquired knowledge about Canada.
