Meeting objective
The aim of the XVII Latin American Conference of Automatic Control (CLCA) is to contribute to the development and increase of the scientific and practitioners community of the filed of automatic control, control systems theory, automation, robotics, signal processing and affine areas related to areas of applied mathematics, electrical, electronic, telecommunications, physics, mathematical engineering and biomedicine.
Also, the purpose of the conference is to establish strong relationship between the Latin American universities and research centers that focus their efforts to improve the quality of life and increase of productive sectors by applying automatic control, developing technology and innovation.
This conference will be held at main Campus in Universidad EAFIT , located in a traditional neighborhood of the city.
Applications include automobiles and transportation, power systems, biomedical technology, robots, aerospace, process control, manufacturing, minerals and metals processing. The field encompasses today a broad set of areas and topics, and is thriving not only within itself but also in terms of its impact on other fields, such as communications, computers, biology, energy and economics.
