Colombia is one of the most interesting and rich countries from the geological point of view: we have three mountain ranges, 21 active volcanoes, an average of 2500 earthquakes per month (30,000 thousand a year!), The three types of rocks that allow us to obtain different minerals and types of energy, two oceans, six glacier areas, hundreds of rivers and, as if it were little, several hundred cubic kilometers of cubic water (70% of all continental water in the country!).
